“Ep. 8: Finding Hope in the Sadness” Your Best New Self with Helen Elizabeth
Being able to both control our emotions and take our thoughts captive is not an easy task to say the least. In this episode, we’ll continue our walk through Ecclesiastes (in Ecc. 3) as we discuss how we can find hope when we feel overwhelmed by sadness. This episode is an IG Live recording and is the second of a four-part Bible Study Series focusing on managing our emotions in a healthy, God-centered way.
Do you ever feel like your emotions are getting the best of you? Yeah, me too. So, to help us with this ongoing struggle, I’ll share a few lessons I’ve gleaned from Ecclesiastes 9 that might help us manage our emotions in a healthy, God-centered way.
Ever feel like your emotions are wrecking your relationships, heart and life in general? I’m with you! Self-control when it comes to emotions has been one of my biggest stumbling blogs in my spirital walk. So, since this seems to be a common theme for us Christ followers, I think it’s about time we talk about it!
Thank you for tuning in for Part II of my Instagram (IG) Live Bible Study walking through Galatians. This episode covers Galatians 4, and focuses our attention on becoming our best new self by learning to trust God fully.
I thought I should start posting my Instagram Lives I do every Wednesday on here if you like watching Vlogs!
In this IG Live, we’re continuing out theme of “how to manage emotions in a healthy way.” One of the key lessons we’ll discuss is, “Sometimes we have to just ‘let go and let God’ in order to find peace and happiness.” This, along with a few other key lessons, is our focus for this study going through Ecclesiastes 3.
