Hello, Friends!
Is your faith unwavering regardless of your circumstances? Is your faith constantly deepening and giving glory to God? Today, we continue our study of Romans in chapter 4, we discuss the importance of faith in our walk with Christ, and how that faith applies to righteousness (or being right with God).
Be sure to let me know your thoughts in the comments below! Praying as always that my words speak to your heart, friends! Love in Christ.
*Quick Note: There is a part in this video in which I talk about the three names/terms used to describe the nation that came from Abraham through Isaac and Jacob. These three names are Hebrews, Israelites, and Jews. I explain the first two names well, but then go on to mention that I need to explain the last term (“Jew”) better. So – like I promised – I did some research, and the term “Jew” comes from the term used to describe the inhabitants of Judah, the name taken by the two tribes of Israel (Judah and Benjamin) that lived in the southern region of Israel after the division of the 12 tribes of Israel. After Israel was taken captive by the Babylonians, however, the name was adopted to embrace all 12 tribes.
Alright! Well, that’s your history lesson for the day! Now, go enjoy the video!
Love in Christ,
Helen Elizabeth
