Ep. 6: Living Single to Married Life – Relationships from a Guy’s Perspective

I have been waiting, and waiting for the opportunity to share this episode with you! I finally got my husband, Andrew, to sit down and let me interview him for a podcast on relationships!

If you’ve followed our story, then you know that Andrew didn’t date very seriously and was single for quite a while before we got back together. There were times when he was really down, and wanted to be angry with God; but instead, Andrew did the best he could to trust God’s timing, and learn the valuable lessons God wanted to teach him through the process. Today, I can honestly tell you that I see the fruit of his decision in our marriage. It may not have been easy in the moment, but it was worth it in the long run.

Therefore, in this episode, I’ve asked Andrew to talk about the lessons he’s learned from waiting on God as a single guy, dating the wrong people for several years, and his first year of marriage. I absolutely love his heart and his ability to share the lessons God revealed to him during all the different stages of relationships. Hoping his words encourage you as much as they encouraged me!

Praying for you today and always, friends.

Love in Christ,

Helen Elizabeth

I really enjoy all of your podcasts, but this is one of my favorites! I loved listening to the two of you and took a lot away from it to apply to my life.
